As owner/director of GalleriE CHIZ, I hope to introduce you to a unique experience in the search for fine art, antiques, jewelry (both artist-made and vintage), and other extraordinary, one-of-a-kind items to enrich your environment and your life.

You will find at CHIZ a large selection, all of excellent quality, with your good taste in mind.  You will learn to trust your own instincts, since our merchandise is varied and interesting.  In addition to our monthly exhibits, the gallery always contains a balance of the serious, the kitsch, the aesthetic and the intellectual.  From hand-made books by Barbara Broff Goldman, Vanessa German, and Joan Goswell to funky ceramics by Laura McLaughlin; from circus canvases by Venezuelan Carlos Sanchez-Vegas to pop surrealism by West Virginian Brian Fencl and metal and encaustic drawings by outsider Canadian artist Scott Griffin; from natural pigment paintings by artist/musician Karl Mullen to shaped canvases and sculptures and wall pieces by Adrienne Heinrich, 2002 Pittsburgh artist of the year.
