Artist Statements from the
The Pleasure of Their Company and BIO Thomas Nuzum, Professor Emeritus, Mott Community College, Flint Michigan, returns to GalleriE Chiz with his color saturated paintings, depicting life in the company of his animal friends. He holds an MFA degree from California College of the Arts (Oakland) and was a Fulbright Scholar (Valencia, Spain). His teaching history also includes the University of Wisconsin (Whitewater), Murray State University (Kentucky), and San Francisco State. BIO Ida Michaeli was born in Moscow and has lived and worked in Jerusalem since 1990. She graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem with a BA in ceramic design. She studied at Rietveld Academy (ceramics and sculpture) as well. Michaeli has participated in numerous art fairs in Israel, UA, Great Britain, and Belgium.
